Hodge Floors recently finished a fun and different kind of project for the Teen Room at the Spartanburg County Public Library – Headquarters Library, located at 151 S. Church Street. Hodge Floors’ owner, Jamie Hodge, got a chance to design the floor himself, and the result is a creative, colorful and memorable floor that will meet the demands of a modern and well-trafficked room.
From hosting events like a co-splay workshop with 3D printing to a teen writing group, the Teen Room needed to meet a variety of demands, while remaining a fun and welcoming space for teenagers to lounge, read, create, write and interact. Jamie’s colorful floor design adds a sense of movement and whimsy, while the planks made from Shaw Contract carpet tiles will hold up to the demands of a popular public space.
Corporate projects don’t have to be predictable. The Spartanburg Public Library’s Teen Room shows how a little bit of color and movement can add life and fun to a meeting room.
