The Upward Star Center in Spartanburg is a sports facility like no other, and Hodge Floors is proud to have been a part of the construction of this unbelievable project.

With a stated mission of “Promoting the Discovery of Jesus through Sports,” Upward Star is a state-of-the-art athletic facility. The complex houses 120,000 square feet of space to play, including: six basketball courts; 12 regulation indoor volleyball courts; batting cages; golf swing analysis areas; running track; a gym with free weights and cardio machines; studios designed for dance, cheerleading, aerobics and yoga; meeting rooms; and a team shop. Outside, there are four lighted sand volleyball courts and six grass fields for soccer, lacrosse, 7-vs.-7 football and flag football.

At the Upward Start Center, Hodge Floors provided and installed carpet tiles, slip-resistant sheet vinyl with welded seams, and synthetic turf for the indoor baseball facility. Our flooring will help ensure athletes are safe and supported. We look forward to watching Spartanburg’s children have fun, gain skills and stay healthy!
