Amidst the twinkling lights and festive traditions, our Hodge Floors family is seeing exciting growth happening all throughout Spartanburg. From new schools to exciting new government offices, Spartanburg is a community on the grow!
Through all of this growth and expansion, we’re just as thrilled to see the heart of Spartanburg shining brightly through acts of service and giving this holiday season.
At Hodge Floors, we believe it’s a beautiful thing when community heart and growth can happen side by side.
Community Projects
One example of community growth is our recent work with Spartanburg District 5. The district is in the final stages of building the new Abner Middle School in Greer to meet continued population growth.
Abner Middle will have a host of indoor and outdoor learning spaces, as well as beautiful new facilities to meet the needs of students.
Working alongside our friends at Harper Construction, Hodge Floors installed new flooring all throughout the school. We can’t wait for students to walk the halls and grace these new spaces in the 2024 school year!
Another exciting project of note is our work at the new Spartanburg County Courthouse.
Hodge Floors has been hard at work installing beautiful new flooring at the 340,000-square-foot downtown courthouse. The new courthouse will have 17 courtrooms, one hearing room, jury assembly and deliberation rooms, as well as spaces to expand in the future.
Hodge Floors is thrilled to be working on this exciting new project for our community.
Our Community’s Heart
We know the spirit of service is alive and well in Spartanburg, and the holidays are a great time to think about how you and your family could donate your time or donations to a local service organization.
Here are a few ideas and causes we heart:
Boys and Girls Club: Consider volunteering to help local students with anything from afterschool homework during “Power Hour” to artistic and athletic programming support!
Mobile Meals: We have loved being a volunteer for this wonderful organization. Help prepare or deliver meals to area citizens — you won’t believe how the blessings will go both ways!
Attend a cultural event at Chapman Cultural Center. Supporting the arts in Spartanburg is another way of giving back to our vibrant art community! With performances like The Nutcracker performed by Spartanburg Ballet every season, plus a host of exciting events all year long, you won’t want to miss a moment at this wonderful venue.
